The GFX Workflow

Film is mounted in a precision holder that ensures perfect flatness without the need for mounting fluids. The negative is illuminated by a narrowband RGB backlight. Paired with a custom-calibrated camera profile and an apochromatic Rodenstock lens, this setup guarantees exceptional edge-to-edge sharpness and accurate color reproduction.

GFX Customizability & Pricing

Because camera scanning produces flexible files, you have full control over the final deliverable and how much of the processing you handle yourself.

1. RAW Scan Only Receive the uncropped, linear RAW file as-is. The file retains its native negative tonality, allowing you to handle the orange mask correction and color inversion in your own software.

  • Uncut film roll: €7
  • Cut film roll: €9
  • Single frame: €1.50

2. Flat Inversion Service I manually process the RAW scan into a positive .tiff with natural color correction. This provides a clean, flexible foundation for further editing. We can also collaborate to dial in a custom look, and you can choose to crop cleanly or include full analog borders and sprockets.

  • Color Negative: +€5 per roll | +€1 per frame
  • Black & White: +€3 per roll | +€0.50 per frame

Extra Options

  • Archival Sleeving: €3 per roll (Sleeving in archival-grade paper).
